Senior Vice President, IT Commercial – Schneider Electric

Appointed in November 2014 Senior Vice President IT Commercial for the IT Business, Philippe Arsonneau is in charge of defining and supporting the ITB strategy globally in Datacenters, IT Channels and Secure Power, enabling the sales team to successfully execute our ambition.

Prior to this position, Philippe was Senior Vice President for Schneider Electric’s Global Sales ITB Business, responsible for the overall growth, development and P&L of the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) regions.

Philippe is an industry veteran with 25 years of experience in general management, sales, technology, engineering and manufacturing roles. He was previously part of the Schneider Electric IT Business Unit for the APJ region, serving as Senior Vice President. Philippe first joined Schneider Electric in 1991 and has spent 17 years in various positions across the company in numerous locations (Europe, Asia, US). They include strategic roles in the Building and Energy sectors with sales, acquisition and offer creation responsibility, and project management and sales leadership roles in the Transmission & Distribution business.

From 1999 to 2006 Philippe was General Manager for Siemens where he gained valuable management experience in Automation and Drives with responsibility for a global portfolio.

Philippe is also French Foreign Trade Advisor in Singapore (officially appointed by the French Government) and a member of the board of the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
